Hello, friends! Well, after years of thinking, "I really should start a blog," I am finally getting off my tookus and doing it. Most likely, if you are reading this you already know my family. I am the wife of 14 years to Kenny, man who I know would walk through fire for me. I am proud to be called "Mom" by the most amazing kiddos on Earth. Abbie is my newly 11 year old young lady known for her sweetness. Jack is my 7 year old all boy and then some cuddly big guy. Lily is my 3 year old petite princess with a bit of tomboy mixed in. I call them my Snuggle Bunny, Snuggle Bear, and Snuggle Bug. A little too sugary? Well, you wouldn't think so if you snuggled with them! They also have a big sister, Rebekah, who joined Jesus in heaven as an infant. I am blessed beyond my comprehension to have this family!!!!
You might be wondering about my blog title. The pictures you see are real, unstaged, and from my kitchen. This is so typical that Kenny actually said, "How about Kernels and Crumbs?" right off the top of his head when I asked for blog name suggestions. I just laughed, and he said something to the effect of "No, really. That describes our life." So there you go. We do have other surprises on the floor, walls, etc. at any given moment.
We are a very laid back, take-it-as-it's-thrown-at-ya group. There is lots of love and laughter in our home, as well as a few screams on occasion. OK, I lied. More than a few screams. What can I say? We're a vocal bunch!
I am terrible at keeping in touch with people, as many of you know. I'M SORRY!!! I do have lots of dear, sweet friends and relatives I think about all the time, but don't take a moment to call. So at least with a blog, hopefully I can give you updates about the kids and talk with you through comments you can leave. Please leave comments. I promise to respond.
